Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport (1,345 m)
Adventure Discovery Treks Representative will meet you in the Airport. They will be carrying a signboard with our companies and your name. As soon as you meet them, they will take you to the standard hotel in Thamel. Afternoon time, roaming around the beautiful Thamel area. In the evening, you will be guided and informed about the trekking itineraries, necessary items, and clothing.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour to Kathmandu Valley
After having breakfast, we proceed for Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour. The tour takes you to the UNESCO enlisted World Heritage sites. First, we drive to Pashupatinath temple, then to Boudhanath Stupa. It’s worth driving to Patan Durbar Square in the afternoon time. After a few hours of roaming around it, we head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. Lastly, we head towards the Monkey Temple- Swoyambhunath Temple. The temple is located on the top of the hill. Hiking through the staircase would be so much fun. Finally, we return to the hotel and rest for the upcoming treks.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,810 m) and same day trek to Phakding (2,610 m): 35 minutes Air flight and 3-4 hours trek
The real trekking begins here. We transfer to Tribhuvan Airport and fly to Lukla. The scenic flight would give you picturesque views of Kathmandu valley, hills, and temples. After landing at Lukla, we continue trekking towards Phakding via Dudh Koshi valley. The trail is gently ascending before reaching Phakding. Overnight, stay at a lodge at Phakding.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,445 m): 10 km, 6-7 hours
Today we will trek through pine forest. Crossing Suspension bridge would be scary and memorable. We enter the National Park Permit Checkpoint and head towards the Tenzing- Hillary Suspension bridge. You can observe Mt. Thamserku (6,618 m), Mt. Nuptse, and a glimpse of Mt. Everest from the Nuptse-Lhotse ridge. After ascending for 3 hours, we will reach the gateway of the Everest region: Namche Bazaar. Tonight stay at a hotel of Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
Adapting in the surrounding to make our body ready for a trekking to higher elevation plays a vital role for Everest Three Pass trek. Moreover, that’s what health expert suggest us to do. So, instead of resting in the lodge, we roam around the Namche Bazaar. We hike towards the beautiful village of Khunde and Khumjung. If the weather is clear, you can view the high peaks such as Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse and the Mt. Everest. We hike towards Syangboche (3,750 m) from where the trail is ascending towards Khundu. We move eastward towards Khumjung village, which is a beautiful village of Sherpa people. After exploring the town, we return to Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3,860 m): 5-6 hours
After a healthy breakfast at Namche (3,500 m), we head forward towards Tengboche. On the trail, you can witness close up views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Everest. You can spot wild animals such as Musk deer and colorful pheasant on the path. After Crossing suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi river, it takes 2 hours to reach Tengboche. Roaming around the Tengboche Monastery is memorable. Overnight stay at the lodge of Tengboche, breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 07: Tengboche – Dingboche (4,390 m): 5-6 hours
Early in the morning, we move to Dingboche (4,410 m). It takes 4 hours to reach Dingboche. We cross the suspension bridge over Imja Khola and ascend to Pangboche. Passing the Lobuche river, we head towards the terraced field enclosed by a stone wall. After a few hours of trekking, we reach Dingboche. Tonight, stay at teahouse of Dingboche.

Day 08: Dingboche – Chhukung (4,730 m): 3-4 hours
Early in the morning, we leave Dingboche and hike towards stone walled fields. Trekking forward towards Imja valley, you can observe Lhotse tower and Mt. Ama Dablam. You can explore the terminal moraine wall, Island Peaks before reaching them, which is a small village of Sherpa people. After 30 minutes of walk, we finally reach Chhukung. Hiking towards the Chhukung Ri (5,546 m) is interesting from where you can witness Mt. Lhotse, Island Peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and many other mountain ranges and hills.

Day 09: Acclimatization Day in Chhukung
It’s your second acclimatization day for a better adaptation of the surrounding. You shouldn’t stay inactive because that would create more problems if you trek higher elevation. So, we roam here and there. We hike towards the island Peak Base Camp, pass the Lhotse Glacier and walk around the Imja Lake. Evening time, return to Chhukung. Overnight stay at the lodge, breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 10: Chhukung – Kongma La Pass (5,535 m) – Lobuche (4,925 m): 9-10 hours
Today’s trekking is more tedious. We carry water, snacks, and Lunch because the lodges are absent along the trail. Hiking around the remote village of Chhukung, we reach Kongma La Pass. Behind us is the glacial lake, which is the Khumbu Glacier. Descending through it is the most challenging time throughout the trek. Please be careful while going ahead from it. The trailhead towards north from Khumbu glacier, and finally we reach Lobuche. Tonight stay at lodge in Lobuche.

Note: If we can’t hike on this day, we sleep on the tented camp on the path.

Day 11: Lobuche – Gorak Shep (5,180 m) – Everest Base Camp (5,363 m): 15 km, 8-10 hours
Today you need to pass through the rocky and windy path. You can witness Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, etc. on the trail. The trail follows the path of Khumbu Glacier. After some ascending, we reach Everest Base Camp from where you can observe a clear landscape of Mt. Everest. We return the same trail to Gorak for the night.

Day 12: Gorak Shep – Kalapather (5,545 m) – Dzongla (4,710 m): 15 km, 8-10 hours
Today is the first day of the Everest Three pass trek. Hiking towards the Kalapather where you can witness glorious view Mt. Everest in front of your eyes would be the precious moment of your life. You can notice other peaks such as Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam on the trail. After enjoying for 5-10 minutes at Kalapather, we trek down to Gorakshep and then retrace our path to Lobuche. Then, we pass through the grassy ridge and valley floor from where we can see the spectacular views of Pheriche village. After a few hours of trek, we reach Dzongla where we stay for the night.

Day 13: Dzongla- Cho La (5,420 m) – Thangnak (4,680 m)- Gokyo (4,800 m): 9- 10 hours
Today’s trekking is the toughest of all because of ascending, descending, and narrow paths. On ascending, the back view gets more captivating. As you head forward, Cho la lake begins to appear. Further, we need to climb Cho La, which can be risky because the rocks can be glazed by ice at any time. After reaching the top, we slowly descend to Thangnak. Descending is easier but can be a danger if rocks are glazed by ice. After a few hours of walk from Thangnak, we reach Ngozumpa glacier edge and finally to Gokyo where we stay for the night.

Day 14: Rest and Explore Gokyo Ri
The landscape of the Gokyo area is marvelous. Climbing the Gokyo Ri (5,350 m) offers spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and many more. If you aren’t bored, have the energy to trek, then we can proceed to another lake named Ngazumpa on the map. The small peaks on the region offer classical views of mountain ranges. After all, we return to the lodge at Gokyo for the night.

Day 15: Gokyo – Renjo La (5,345 m) –Marlung (4,210 m): 8- 9 hours
The downward trekking starts today. We trek down to Gokyo valley, leave the main trail and turn to Renjo La trail. After 3 hours of a long walk through forest and villages, we reach Renjo La, where you can witness the mountain views again. Continuing the trail, we arrive at Lamden where there are few lodges, but these lodges mostly seem to be closed. After one hour walk from where, we reach today’s destination, Marlung where we stay for the night.

Day 16: Marlung – Namche Bazaar (3,440 m): 8-9 hours
The descending is so fun. We cross the Bhote Koshi and reach Taranga. After a few hours, we reach Thame where there are few locals settlements and consists of few lodges. Moving ahead, we reach the Hydroelectric power station. This hydropower provides electricity to almost all the parts of the Khumbu region. After a few hours of trek, we reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at the standard lodge of Namche Bazaar.

Day 17: Namche Bazaar – Lukla (2,780 m): 7-8 hours
The trail continues downwards towards the bridge across the Dudh Koshi River. After fulfilling the formalities at the check-post of National Park, we head towards Phakding. We will stop at Phakding for Lunch. After that, we continue the trail passing through rhododendron and pine forest, Prayers flag, and Sherpa Village. After you reach Lukla, you can celebrate with rest of the trekkers for successful completion of the Everest Three High Passes trek. Tonight stay at Hotel of Lukla.

Day 18: Lukla – Kathmandu by Air (1,300 m): 35 minutes Air flight
The final day of the trek, your luggage and bag pack will be taken to Airport by our guides and porters. You can enjoy the last breakfast in the Khumbu region. On reaching the Airport, our private vehicle will carry and drop you to the Hotel at Thamel. Evening time, our company staffs will meet you, congratulate you, and celebrate the success story together.

Day 19: Final Departure
Last day of your trek, you will be taken to Kathmandu International Airport by one of our team members. You can inform us if you want to explore the trekking in Nepal. Adventure Discovery Treks would always be there to make your proper arrangements.
