The Tamang Heritage with Langtang Trek is a mix Himalayan adventure with premium mix culture of Tamang and Sherpa’s. This trek is to explore the real Tamang’s culture, travel around massive Himalayas. A land of Magic meditation and shamanism, Langtang is also popular area for ancient monasteries, wild rhododendron floors, bamboos trees and many holy lakes.
The 10 to 12 days Tamang heritage with Langtang trek begains with drive to Syabrunsi from Kathmandu for about 7 to 8 hours. The actual walk starts from Syabrunsi village. Your trek goes on to Gatlang and Tatopani than Thuman and Briddim and come across the Lama Hotel to go onwards to Langtang valley. More forward you arive the popular Kyangingumba village to see the massive peaks around. Here after your journey turns back to Syabrunsi again to catch the bus to Kathmandu.
Along the trek you will enjoy the views of Langtang Lirung (7,245meters) ganesh Himal, Paldor peak, Yela Peak, Ganjala Peak, Naya Kanga, langtang Himalayan range etc… Tamang heritage trail is new tourism product of Nepal and has become popular in few years.
The main target of Tamang Heritage with Langtang rek is to gain knowledge of tamang people and Langtang snow caped peaks. Mainly tamang people are from hilly area of Nepal doing agriculture and raising livestock. They also built beautiful baskets from mountain bamboo trees.
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu- Upon arrival we will pick up you and transfer you to hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Syabrunsi and stay overnight at lodge. – 8 hours
Day 03: Trek Syabrunsi to Gatlang (2,200m) – 5 hours walk
Day 04: Trek Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m) – 6 to 7 hours walk
Day 05: Trek Tatopani to Thuman (2400m) – 6 hours
Day 06: Thuman to Briddim (2,345m) – 6 hours
Day 07: Briddim to Lama Hotel (2470m) 6 hours walk
Day 08: Trek to Langtang valley (3,430m) – 6 hours walk
Day 09: Trek to Kyanjin Gumpa (3,870m) 4 hours walk
Day 10: Trek back to Lama Hotel ( 6 hours walk)
Day 11: Trek down to Syabrunsi ( 5 hours walk)
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 13: Fly back to Home or towards your own destinations.
