The Upper Mustang trek was started to trek with special permits on 1991 and most popular for cultural and traditional trails that rich at Lo-Mangtnag the rain shadow region of Nepal. Day 01: Kathmandu arrival and trek homework [1,300m/4264ft]
Whenever you finish visa management inside Kathmandu airport, Our Airport representative will wellcome you and transfer to Hotel and evening Mustang trekking detail briefing will be given.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara [823m/2699.5ft]
An early morning the tourist bus leaves to Pokhara from (Kantipath) Kathmandu to Pokhara. Drive goes along the Trishuli River on Prithivi highway to Pokhara which takes 6 hours. As we arrives close to Pokhara we start see the Annapurnas. Pokhara is dirt free city bounded by stunning Annapurna Himalayan range. The Phewa Lake offers boating chances where you may enjoy boating. Stay Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 03: Morning flight to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni [2,858m/9,374ft] 3 – 4 hours walk
A 22 minutes picturesque flight between Himalayas with views of Dhaulagiri 98167m) and Annapurna drops us to Jomsom airport from Pokhara in the morning. Jomsom is head quarter of Mustang also the main town for administrations offices. We will have breakfast in Jomsom and fallow the Kaligandaki River side.It will be very blustery at the afternoon. After walking about 3 hours we arrive at Ekley-Bhatti located in isolated area. Then we continue our walk to Kagbeni. At the aftoornon we explore the Kagbeni village and an old Monastery here. Stay Overnight.

Day 04: Kagbeni to Chele [3,050m/10004ft] 6 hours walk
Today as we enter the Upper Mustang restricted region, we first go for particular permit check post and fallow the Kaligandaki riverside up torrent. Throughout the hike we will have attractive charming place for rest on grimy and blustery paths. Descending and ascending we reach the Tangbe town by way of thin path between white colored homes surrounding by buckwheat, barley, wheat and apple farms. We continue to Chhusang and head through tiny edge and reach at Chele village. Stay Overnight.

Day 05: Chele to Syanbochen [3475m/11,398ft] 7 hours walk
Starting walk again further to Eklo Bhatti we hike up to Taklam La Pass (3,624m/11,887ft) throughout flat terrain and slender extend with observations of Tilicho Peak, Yakawa Kang and Damodar Danda. Additional move down a petite to the town of Samar, Hike up Samar village to the edge then downward sharply to a stream, another about 3 hours walk in similar track takes us to Syanbochen enjoying the cool sounds of streams and juniper trees. Stay overnight at Syanbochen.

Day 06: Syanbochen to Ghaymi [3520m/11546ft] 6 hours walk
Right after breakfast at the morning we hike up hill to the Yamda La crossing some tea houses, chortens and local community of tibetan method residence. Crossing barley fields we climb Nyi Pass of 13,193ft. Here we descend for our overnight stop at Ghaymi which third biggest town in Lo area. Stay Overnight.

Day 07: Ghaymi to Charang [3500m/11480ft] 5 hours walk
Today, first we cross the Ghaymi Khola and trail leads plateau next to extended Mani wall (The holi stones which is made by the Buddhist followers). From the Mani wall end the trek ahead east to the town of Charang with corn fields, homes are alienated by stone walls Tsarang Chu. Stay overnight.

Day 08: Charang to Li-Mangthang (3700m/12136ft]
This is the day of Mustang trek to until Lo-Mangthang from Charang with supreme scenery of Nilgiri, Tilicho Peak and Annapurna I mountains. Before passing the river until Charang Chu the trek leads down and as soon as we cross the river then we got to hike up steeply. As we arrive at 3,850m height of Lo pass we can visiable Lo- Mangthang valley then we descends to Li – Mangthang valley. Overnight at Lo-Mangthang

Day 09: Doscover Lo – Mangthang
As Lo-mangthang is our last destination we take an extra day to travel around here today by visiting Namgyal Hompa and Tingkhar. A Namgyal Gompa located at the top of hill also known as local court and we continue tour to Tingkhar which is last village situated northwest of Lo- Mangthang. You may also visit the Tall Champa Lakhang known as “God House”, Thugchen Gompa, Chyodi Gompa and the Entrance hall those are the major visiting places around Lo- Mangthang. Stay overnight.

Day 10: Trek from Li – Mangthang to Drakmar [3810m/12497ft] 6 hours walk
The different trek path while we coming back from Lo- Mangthang to Drakmar via Gyakar visiting ancient Ghar Gompa where we meet Guru Rinpoche as the main shape. Rock painted this Gompa is believed as place where we can fulfil our good wishes. Dusty wind will blow during the day time so morning trek is suggested. Overnight at Drakmar

Day 11: Dhakmar to Ghiling [3807m/12,487ft] 5-6 hours walk
Facing dusty wind for sure we trek down to Ghiling with about 5 to 6 hourswalk. Enjoying the deserts type landscape with Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains we arrive the Ghiling. After lunch we may explore the Ghiling village. Stay over night

Day 12: Ghiling to Chhuksang [3050m/10004ft]
Let’s trek back to Chhuksang from Ghiling enjoying the tibetain life style and cultures. The trek mostly leads down questioning the Himalayan outlook around no green trees. Stay overnight at Chhuksang.

Day 13: Chhiksang to Jomsom [2720m/8,922ft] about 7 hours walk.
This is last walking day for 7 hours. We start early and try to avoid wind while walking. Finishing the Mustang track we now link the Annapurna circuit regular trail in Kagbeni. After the lunch at Kagbeni we fallo the Kaligandaki riverbank to Jomsom for last night of our trek, Here is an option to explore around Muktinath if you could one more extra day. Stay overnight at Jomsom.

Day 14: Fly back to Pokhara
An early morning picturesque flight for 22 minutes takes us Pokhara city – A city of natural beauty. Between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range we land in Pokhara. When we arrive at Pokhara we transfer to Pokhara hotel for overnight stay. Day time you may take rest or explore around Pokhara. Stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.

Day 15: Drive from Pokgara to Kathmandu.
This drive again for 6 hours and which is 200km east from Pokhara on Prithivi highway enjoying the river side view with farm lands. As we arrive at Kathmandu you will be transfer to hotel.

Day 16: Final Departure to your own destinations
Your Nepal Upper Mustang Trek has come at the end today. If you have few days left and wants to do some trips do let us know. If not we transfer you to Kathmandu airport for to catch flight to your own destination.
