The mysterious beautiful place Pokhara valley offers short and easy hiking around Dhampus and sarankot view point of Annapurna Himalayas. The Dhampus Sarangkot hike offers stunning Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. A trek to Dhampus Sarangkot view point starts with 30 minutes drive from Pokhara to Phedi town and climbs up to traditional village Dhampus for over night stay. This two hours hike from Phedi to Dhampus climbs up through the jungles and villages and crossing some field terraces.
Another day we begin after breakfast to Sarangkot through Naudanda and meets the road. Keep fallowing the bumping road o Sarangkot viewing the local villages and Annapurna Himalayas including Mt Fishtail ( 6,993m) we arrive to Saragkot for over night stay. Evening view of Pokhara valley from Sarangkot with Phewa lakes is heart beating.
The hike to Dhampus Sarangkot ends at Pokhara on 3rd day. An early morning we hike up to Sarangkot view point to enjoy he Himalayas view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Afterwards we trek down to Sarangkot Phedi to catch car to Pokhara valley
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara.
There are several options to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. We will manage by air, Tourist bus drive or private car drive it mainly depends on your interests. If you are taking flight to Pokhara it takes 35 minutes, If you taking tourist bus drive it takes 7 hours and by private car it takes 5 hours.
Day 02: Pokhara to Dhampus.
30 minutes drive to Phedi and trek climbs to Dhampus which takes 3 hours through jungles and some field terraces.
Day 03: Trek to Sarangkot from Dhampus.
After Breakfasts we trek down to Naudanda to catch road and keep fallowing bumping road to Sarangkot enjoying the local villages with annapurna Himalayan range including Fishtail.
Day 04: Trek Back to Sarangkot & drive to Pokhara
An early morning hike to Sarangkot view point then we trek down to Sarankot phedi passing villages and drive to Pokhara.
Day 05: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
